The Hey Zomi Reusable Menstrual Disc

I have used a cup for years and finally made the switch to the Zomi disc. I love that it is black so staining isn’t visible. I am still getting used to inserting it and am experiencing leaks. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to get the hang of as it is more comfortable than a cup.

I’ve used a menstrual cup for a few years and found it uncomfortable so decided to try the disk. It’s fantastic and so easy to insert! Sometimes I need to readjust due to small leakage but when you have the right seal you cannot feel it. Again so comfortable once inserted, barely noticeable unlike a tampon or cup and the disk doesn’t put pressure when using the toilet. Easy to take out but best done in the shower. If you’re on the fence, get it because you won’t regret it.

Was so good once I placed it properly I barely noticed it there! 10/10 recommend even for people with heavy periods

As a woman with a very heavy flow (have had endo removal surgery before) I was very skeptical. I watched all the videos and read the super informative instructions and nailed it after 2 attempts. It not only saves me money and discomfort but it made the whole 7 day period experience so much more enjoyable. I had total peace of mind and just wore an extra pad in heavy days (which turned out to be so unnecessary!). I would advise a pad or period underwear on your heaviest night flow whilst sleeping though. Phenomenal product that I’m recommending to everyone.

I love this product. I have been telling all of my friends about how easy it is to insert and how leak proof it is!! An absolute favourite of mine.

No learning curve. This was phenomenal and so easy to use. I've come from using a cup and the transition to this was seamless - I don't know why I waited so long!

I’ve predominantly alternated between using a menstrual cup and tampons most cycles over the last 1-2 years and have been reading about the various brands of menstrual discs on the market for several months now. I made the decision to buy a Zomi disc and currently using it on the first 1-2 days of a standard heavy period. I have had to remove and re-insert it a few times already due to accidentally auto-dumping, once whilst exerting very minimal pressure tamping a coffee, and another bending over to pick something off the floor (both occurred at home thankfully). I wore period underwear to bed last night for extra protection and did experience leakage. I have read several reviews where women say using their disc took a few cycles to get the hang of, and I am committed to becoming familiar with correct insertion and positioning, and aware of times I 'bear-down' in life where I hadn’t realised I did when it didn’t affect blood being force-released from my body! I also invested in a disc as I am interested in enjoying mess-free intimacy during my period, but this cycle I feel nervous about trying it because or***sms involve a strong feeling of release which I am aware may cause the disc to empty itself on my partner and the bed. I love the idea of this being my only go-to monthly product, and may write another review in a few months when I am comfortably wearing the disc and experiencing the full range of cleanliness and freedom that other users speak of!
