I’ve used a cup for quite a while and this is such a better upgrade!
I would always find the cup would slowly slide down and it would be hard to wee without taking it out.
Barely feel the disc, I’m on my 3rd cycle now and really getting the hang of it! Learning how to empty it while still partially inserted has been the trickiest but only on my one heavy day. I just empty it in the shower at night, I love it!

I can't believe I held off changing to a disc r years! So easy to go about my days. I use back up period undies on heavy flow days just for my own confidence.

I was a lifelong pad user and always struggled with tampons, but after some research I decided to give menstrual discs a try and I am glad I did. The Hey Zomi disc has been absolutely perfect! Insertion is very easy with a little bit of lubricant and it sits properly and doesn't shift around during the day. The loop makes removal a breeze so I don't have any anxiety about not being able to take it out when needed. The rim is soft but firm enough for it to not leak when I move around, and the basin is very soft and thin which makes it so you don't even feel it inside. I absolutely love it and I will never be going to pads again! It was worth every penny even with the extra shipping costs to the US. I tried a few different brands before this one but they all either leaked or were extremely difficult to insert or remove. Hey Zomi has been the absolute best one for me!

I am absolutely stoked that I have come across these! Pads irritate me and the use of tampons eventually made me feel like I wanted to find something else better for me and the environment etc so on. I initially tried menstrual cups. No go. No matter how many different ones I had tried, they weren’t comfortable and I couldn’t figure out how to empty them without making a mess! When I first came across the discs, I was very uncertain. I’d been burnt before by the uncomfortable fit with the cups and thought - these discs are huge! They’ll be super uncomfortable! When I saw them on sale - I thought, “why not?” And I have NEVER looked back! They’re super comfy, you don’t know it’s there! The auto-dump feature is a massive game changer! I just cannot tell you how much I love these discs! Super easy to use, store and disinfect. I really like how they’ve brought out the carry case/ cleaning case too!

I switched from another brand of menstrual disc that was slightly larger and would often pop out of place. I've had no issues with this one staying put, and the little removal handle makes taking it out that bit easier.

Using lube has also been a total game-changer (I can't believe I never thought to use it before!).

I also love the cleaning tablets. Nothing I'd tried previously came close to removing the built-up stains on my menstrual disc. I left it to soak overnight, and it came out looking brand new.

The silicone cleaning and storage cup is a great addition too!

I wanted to use the disc for atleast 6 months before I posted a review and here it is. This disc has been absolutely life changing. I used pads for a long time and then moved to period underwear. I've barely ever used tampons and tried to use a menstrual cup twice but both times it got stuck inside and was extremely hard to get out deterring me from trying anything to do with inserting ever again. I was also frustrated with how period underwear made me feel, especially on heavy days, just wet and diaper-like. Then, I can across a Hey Zomi ad about menstrual discs and how they fold into being as small as a tampon and how you don't need a vacuum seal to get it sit properly. I ordered a disc also because there was a 90-day returns window in case it did not work. I watched their tutorials, and a couple of others on YouTube and then tried it for the first time on a regular day for practice. The videos were clear enough that I knew I'd inserted it properly, required the tiniest bit of practice and understanding of my own anatomy and it was all good to go. I couldn't feel it once it was in. I then used it during my period and luckily had no leaks. I backed it up with period underwear on my heavy days just in case, but nothing leaked. The disc also never got stuck because of the pull tab! Strangely enough the more I started using the disc, the less I loathed getting my period. It still sucks but atleast it sucks a little bit less.
What blew my mind was how easy it was to travel with a disc and just how much cleaner it made me feel.
My biggest advice would be to use a lube to make it super easy to insert, it just glides right in.
I also absolutely love the disc cleaning tablets. I have a dedicated clean, sterilised glass jar that I put water and a disc cleaning tablet in at the end of my period and just soak the disc in it for a few hours. No need to boil and this makes it easy to clean while travelling.
This disc has TRULY changed the way I deal with my period and I am so happy I chose to try it. It is surprisingly soft, super easy to insert, easy to dump, easy to clean, easy to travel with and just makes my period easy. Thank you for this brilliant product.

the carry cup is great for travelling with the cup or just to clean it when you don't have time to steam it.

Have used it twice and loved it so far! No mess and seems to be more effective than other period products (mainly moon cups) I’ve tried.

If you're a girl that often forgets time, heavier periods and hates tampons, then this is what you would love. Its so easy to use, so comfortable and i dont have to count and set timers for how long. Really great product and super easy to clean with the pop up bucket and tablets. Have recommended to several friends already!
