My periods are painful and heavy, and I work long irregular hours at a physically demanding job, often without breaks. Before I got my disc, I had resigned myself to never finding a period product that didn’t mean some amount of constant discomfort. For me, tampons are uncomfortable and would leak and/or become displaced, pads had the same set of problems with the additional discomfort of feeling bulky and worry about odour. A few years ago I switched to period underwear, which was a huge improvement either of the above but which still have a lot of the same problems as pads do.

The Hey Zomi disc has been genuinely life changing. When in place, I cannot even feel it. It’s incredibly reliable, easily the most leak proof product I’ve ever used. It’s so small and discreet that, on days when I’m not sure whether I’ll bleed or not, I can just carry it in its bag in my pocket. It retains no odour whatsoever. It’s also incredibly economical. My first one is still good as new after a year of use, but because my ADHD self keeps losing stuff, I’ve bought several more in the interim to make sure I’ll always have a spare - so worth it.

The only time I even notice I’m wearing it is if (excuse the TMI!) I need to poop. Bearing down makes the disc move forward, which is a feature not a bug because it makes it easy to insert and remove and to empty hands free, but a side effect of this is that I sometimes feel like I might accidentally push it out. If I’m at home, I find it most comfortable to just remove it first and then reinsert after I’m done; if I’m in a public bathroom, I just hold a wad of toilet paper over the area to make sure it doesn’t come out too far.

All in all, the easiest five star rating I’ve ever given. It’s the only period product I’ve ever used that makes it possible to forget I’m on my period, and I cannot offer higher praise than that.

Very easy to use and clean.

I have a retroverted uterus and all the cups that I tried before never fit right. I had always some leaks. This menstrual disc changed everything, I am not worried anymore about leaks, it is super easy to insert and remove, no suction effect. super comfortable and it match completely with my lifestyle. I am a sea person always swimming, surfing, diving now even on my period without being uncomfortable. It is like forgetting that you are even on your period :)

I honestly feel like I’ve tried everything when it comes to period products, and previously I was using a cup. But I never found cups completely comfortable or particularly easy to insert.
The Hey Zomi Disc has completely changed that for me. It actually reminds me of the tampons that used to have the plastic applicators — before the cardboard ones replaced them! 😅 They were always so easy to use, and I get that same feeling with the Hey Zomi Disc. It’s so simple and easy to insert.
I also watched the video explaining how they work, and as a mum, I couldn’t help but think: this is exactly the kind of video I want my daughter to see when she’s old enough to learn about periods. It’s dignified, simple, safe and completely shame-free. I love that approach so much.
And honestly, I can’t speak highly enough of the product. I no longer dread that time of the month!
I also have a super heavy flow, and these have been amazing even on my heavier days. That alone has been such a game changer for me.
I genuinely wish I’d discovered the Hey Zomi Disc sooner and will be telling anyone who will listen to give them a go! ❤️

New to menstrual discs, but it was easier to insert than my menstrual cup. BUT, it did take a few attempts to know where the correct placement was, otherwise there was leakage.

I recently started using Hey Zomi products. I love the disc and also this Cleaning&Carry cup. I take the disc in the cup with me everywhere whenever I'm expecting my period. And I have to say, I wish I had known about this disc sooner. I already liked the menstrual cup for environmental and health reasons, but it was never great (slightly uncomfortable). But the disc is so easy to insert , remove and clean! Thank you Mika & Zoe

I actually can't believe it took me this long to give this product a try. It has been the best swap I've made for any product in my life. Since having children I had been unable to comfortably use tampons. I switched to cloth pads but unfortunately can not use any pads since 3rd baby sure to hormones changing and irritation so Hey Zomi menstrual disc has solved this problem. No more irration, super easy and comfortable. I can't even notice I'm on my period. Bought a mini steriliser and have 2 discs on rotation.

I was starting to get irritated by my menstrual cup and so I stopped wearing it, and then I found the Zomi disc and it is so much better. Although a bit messier on removal it’s easy to insert (have been using the Zomi lube) and have had no issues with leakage. It’s comfortable all day when I just don’t want to have to tend to my period. It’s much much easier to remove with the pull tag than a cup. I really like that I no longer have the discomfort of the suction of the cup and it’s just so much lighter to wear. I had tried numerous cups not just one brand and this disc by far outweighs all my other experiences. I just haven’t had a swim with it in yet to test it out swimming.

These are honestly so comfortable it feels like I’m wearing nothing! The absorbency is great and I feel really secure wearing them. I got a size Large and they fit perfectly. I’m really impressed and would definitely recommend them!

Actually the easiest + most effective reusable period care if tried. It's like it's not even there.

Got my first heyzomi disc almost 4 years ago and it was great for my first period postpartum and I've loved it since. I had to get the new colours to add to my collection. Love the period undies I got too, so comfy and stretchy, might need to size up because of my butt haha.

I usually have very painful periods and since finding out the link between tampons and cramps because of all the chemicals used I wanted to try hey zomi to see if it would help reduce my cramps.
It has been an absolute game changer!! I don’t have nearly as many cramps as I used to, It is also incredibly easy to use and clean I can’t believe I wasn’t using it earlier!! 10/10 love it ❤️
