This is the perfect way to store and clean your disc, especially in shared environments. I think it’s really important to have a dedicated cleaning and storage space to maintain hygiene and protect your disc. Also if you’re camping or travelling you will always have a clean and reliable place to clean your disc. This is a great product and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

I can discreetly clean my disc in the time it takes to have a shower. I don’t need to use the microwave or stove which is great living when in a sharehouse!

I was very skeptical of menstrual cups. But my daughter was over using period undies and then had successfully gone to tampons. My worry was that she would leave them in for too long and get TSS. Now with both of us using tampons the cost was a bit ridiculous. So I took the plunge and bought a Hey Zomi for her to try. Her eyes nearly popped out of her head when she saw it but gave it a go. The Hey Zomi Reusable Menstrual Disc

I have a very sensitive bladder, and some scar tissue from a 3rd degree tear after my second baby, I find menstrual cups quite uncomfortable, they irritate my bladder, and I feel constant pressure when they’re inserted. I have also tried another menstrual disc in the past but it was quite rigid and never emptied easily.
But the Hey Zomi disc is AMAZING it is so so so soft and comfortable. I literally forget it’s there. I’m a long distance runner, and also lift heavily at the gym and have had no issues with leaking.
Also the sterilising tablets and microwave sanitiser are just so easy!

I just wanted to share my experience because it’s been such a big difference for me.

A while ago I tried a different brand menstrual disk and one day I sneezed at work… and it completely emptied while I was sitting at my desk. 🪦 Thankfully I was wearing all black and the chair was black too, but safe to say I never used a disk again after that.

After that I tried a few different menstrual cups, but I still had issues with leaking and found them difficult to remove.

Then after my recent miscarriage I was diagnosed with adenomyosis, and for months I was bleeding for around 25 days straight. My cup was leaking constantly and I was having to empty it every 3 hours or it would become a complete mess. It affected everything! Intimacy was basically off the table, I had so many stained clothes from leaks, and the tail of the cup was causing constant irritation.

I’m so glad I decided to try the Heyzomi disk. I haven’t had any leaking issues, it holds more so I don’t have to empty it nearly as often, and the shape makes it feel like it’s barely even there and easy to remove. I’ve even been able to have comfortable intimate moments again without worrying.
